ZHAW becomes new SystemsX.ch partner

SystemsX.ch welcomes the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) as its 15th partner. The new partner organization has achieved an outstanding reputation in applied research. Several of the ZHAW’s institutes are active in systems biology, and one research group is already involved in a SystemsX.ch MRD Project.

New board members

SystemsX.ch welcomes Alfred Zippelius and Uwe Sauer as new members of the Scientific Executive Board (SEB). They replace Jörg Schifferli and Ruedi Aebersold, who have stepped down from their positions on the board.  more»

First SystemsX.ch Postdoc Workshop a success

“I would strongly recommend this workshop to all postdocs, whatever their plans for their career are. These skills are universal and can help us be better scientists, function well as part of a team and become good leaders”, says Julien Limenitakis, University of Berne, after attending the first SystemsX.ch Postdoc Workshop. He was one of 16 participants of the two-day course, which took place in February 2015 in Gerzensee, Berner Oberland.  more»

7th International Practical Course in Systems Biology

Register now for the well-established ‘International Practical Course in Systems Biology‘, which will take place at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden, from June 1 to 12, 2015. Over eleven days, participants will learn hands-on how to integrate experiments with mathematical modeling, and will conduct a complete systems biology cycle themselves. PhD students and post-doctoral scientists with an experimental and/or theoretical background may register for this course until March 27, 2015. more»
